For Ostara this year we decided to add a children’s day in the park to our schedule. We had the adult Ostara on March 20, 2010 at Lady Charissa’s home. The children got to have their Ostara on March 13, 2010 at Harrison Park.
Atlanta Pagan Marketplace of Ideas 2010 (the very first one! )
NGS headed down to check out this new event. We showed up with everything to set up and jumped in getting right to work helping out the organizers with set up. We are always so proud of the people that are a part of NGS for their love of community and understanding of how it takes a village to pull these things together.
We had a great day meeting people and learning about who was out there working to do some of the same things we were. We don’t seem to have any photos from the day, so if anyone has any they can share, we would be grateful to post them here.
NGS and Grove of Draconis came together and hosted Beltane together complete with a Maypole dance. (if anyone has any other photos from that day, we would love to have them posted up here to share)
We had been working so hard on the upcoming Pagan Pathways Festival that we decided the group needed a fun day at the park. We gathered with for a cookout at Harrison Park.
Pagan Pathways Festival 2010
NGS put on the Pagan Pathways Festival in support of the Pagan Assistance Fund. We had a great time with almost 300 people in attendance. Celia flew in from New Mexico to perform. The focus of the festival was on community. Groups like Mist of Cerridwen and Lunafyre Sanctuary provided rituals. We had a large full moon ritual the night before at the campground.
Grove of Draconis graciously brought their version of some traditional games and shared the with NGS. We held our celebration at Harrison Park in Marietta.
Atlanta Pagan Pride Day 2010
NGS came with loads of people and equipment and set up a booth in the parking lot. Proceeds went to support the Pagan Assistance Fund!
